The Little Things

Small things which make me smile.

Vintage Pin Tin.
It is years old, but it's pastel colours make it on trend this summer.

Glittery Pink Poodle
I bought this at Christmas time, but now its a permanent feature, guarding my wardrobe door.

Pastel Stone Bangles
I love the muted pastel stones against the gold. They are the perfect pair!

Colourful Postcards
I bought these from Paperchase with the intention of sending them as thank you cards.
But I thought they were too cute and kept them for myself.

 Cherry Lip Sweets
I have a sweet tooth and these are my favourite sweets.
I can't eat enough of them, much to everyone I know confusion... they kind of taste like soap!

Girls Who Wear Glasses

I normally avoid wearing my glasses at any cost, always opting for contacts. But while I was in Edinburgh I bought a new pair, which I am kind of in love with.

They’re a lot better than the pink pair I have had since I was sixteen…

Also while in Edinburgh I had to stop by Anthropologie, which is always dangerous for me. I picked up a cute tortoise shell hair bow to match my new glasses!

Packing Attempt

For an organisation freak, who loves to plan and make lists, packing has to be my downfall. I am currently trying to pack for a three day city break, but my bed can no longer be seen due to the mounting pile of clothes!

And I haven’t even started on shoes and handbags…

Carrot Cake

Carrot cake is a firm favourite in my family so my Mum’s birthday brought around the chance for me to try a new recipeSo put on my Cath Kidson house wife apron and used my cutest baking utensils, like my heart measuring spoons…

And my retro blue flour sifter and baking bowl.

Served on vintage primrose patterned plates, along with tea in matching tea cups, creating a perfect afternoon birthday tea party!

At long last

I have just handed in my last ever report for Uni and will be graduating in July. So in the mean time I can get back to my ever growing pile of fashion magazines, which have been heartlessly ignored these last few, dissertation filled months. Oh how I have missed them!

With this free time I can also get my teeth into my pile of Jodi Picoult books, one of my guilty pleasures…
